The American Institute of Bisexuality (AIB), also known as the Bi Foundation, is "a 501(c)(3) private foundation that supports and sponsors projects likely to promote bi visibility and improved understanding bisexuality through education, research, training, and outreach."[1]

In September 2021, Ian Lawrence-Tourinho, the executive director of AIB, came under fire for pansexual erasure (naming the character David Rose from Schitt's Creek as "one of our favorite bi characters" despite the character being called pansexual in canon and by his actor) and claiming that that "pansexuality gave us conversion therapy."[2]
